SOL8, Oops
I kind of forgot to post,
a fact I regret the most,
While this post is not impeccable,
I hope these rhymes are delectable,
what is a good rhyme French toast?
Well I forgot to post until now, and I know it is very late,
but when I opened my computer,
I simply had to post about this, it is just fate.
I hope this is enough,
a very barren post, I know,
But I could not miss one, so this one will just be fluff.
I am very tired now,
and I know these rhymes are bad,
and this post is just kind of sad,
But I could not miss one now,
This had to be done tonight,
So I could complete my blogging plight.

SOL7, Meh
Meh
Sigh
Meh
Just meh
The language program
Meh
School changes
Meh
Just meh
I am in a very meh mood
I do not really know why
I am just very meh
Mad about the new online languages
Mad about how the school staffing changed
It is all just very meh.
Meh is one of my favorite words
When I do not know what to write
I write meh
It is my main word recommendation on my phone
I use it a lot
Meh
My mood is meh
Everything is just meh today
A gray swatch of my favorite word
Meh
In short-
Meh
What did not add to this
As soon as I went to link up
I realized the Library computer had a sensor
And I just said
Meh

SOL6, The Phantom
SOL6, The PhantomThe Phantom of the Opera is one of my favorite Broadway shows, and it is currently the only music I own and consistently listen to. The emotion and darkness behind and in the story are portrayed perfectly with the haunting and dramatic soundtrack. There is something about the story that I find fascinating, and I do not know why I am so easily interested in the show and all of the variations of it. For example, the movie based directly on the book where you see Erik (The Phantom) sell his soul to Satan because he is nervous that people will not like his music, and he thinks that the Devil will convince people to like his music. Selling his soul to the devil has one negative, and that is that his face will be hideously deformed until he sews the skin of people he has killed to his face. Yes, I know, gory. For those that do not know, the story of the musical The Phantom of the Opera is that Christine Daae was orphaned in an opera house, and she grew up there to be in their chorus and be in their ballet. The Phantom is obsessed with her and her voice, and he will do anything to take her. He owns the theater, but never shows up but only to accept his salary. He starts to cause havoc in the theater, and it will not stop until Christine plays the lead, replacing the Prima Donna Carlotta (an Obnoxious lead soprano for nine seasons).
Anywho, the musical was written for Gaston Leroux's book, The Phantom of The Opera. The music was written by Andrew Lloyd Webber, a talented composer for his time. The music is very intensely written to suit each character, and features, in some cases, high and low vocal extremities. It is confusing to those who are not super familiar with the musical and story.
Anyways, It is something that I really enjoy and have an obsession with. I have memorized most of the music, and I would recommend watching the play, the movie is not the best, but still really good.

SOL5, Pinterest Perils
SOL5, Pinterest Perils
Pinterest is my problem,
an addiction with a twist.
All though I do not seem like it,
it is something I always miss.
Origami,
cross stitching,
humor, and many more,
no matter what I am looking for it is something I adore.
Pinning onto boards,
I collect pins in hoards.
No matter what the topic,
from large to microscopic.
My interest will always be heightened,
even if I get frightened.
While my addiction may not be incredibly severe.
Pinterest is something that I hold dear.

SOL4, Kusudama
SOL4, Kusudama

Kusudama are small origami balls that come in a variety of styles and designs. If you google "Kusudama" then you will probably find many examples in image searches. They are really cool and challenging, and I have found an odd hobby with them. It started with a basic sonobe, which is what the "display" at right is made of. I learned these first in origami club, being as I was not in the class and I had not been taught how to make sonobes with everyone else. From there, I found other designs, some of which were taught by the teacher, and some of them I found on my own. I now have an addiction to making the balls and making as many patterns as possible. I have failed at making quite a few of them, but I have found that to be a given with how complicated some of the designs are. I am confident enough in my skills with them that I have started to design my own kusudama balls, which is really hard to do successfully. Making them is almost therapeutic, as it is simply repetition through many pieces, but that fails as soon as it comes to assembly, as that is the hardest part of any given origami ball. Overall, they are an enjoyable hobby, and an interesting thing about me is that I make them.

Smush
Redo
Smush
Start over
Why cant I get this right?
Smush
Redo
Smush
Start over
It happened again.
Oh well, I guess nothing will come out of it this time.
Tomorrow?
The frustration is past its breaking point,
I have to stop.
I have to get it right.
I have to stop.
I give up,
I am defeated,
frustrated,
and done.
The skill just wont work this week,
Oh well
Next time?
I will stick with flat artwork.
Well, at least I tried, and I learned that I am not good at clay texturing.
That skill did not work.
Well, better luck next time.

SOL2, Zingers
SOL2, Zingers or More Accurately TeaTea, tea, I started to drink so long ago,
then for a while it started to go.
But very recently I started to drink it once more,
when I was with my grandparents, as tea they adore.
I prefer zingers,
they have a flavor that lingers.
Black tea is fine,
but plain it is not mine.
I steep a mix of fruit and black tea,
I found that that is just right for me.
Steeping ball in hand I will mix all the land,
And bring a mug of water that definitely is not bland.
The mix packs a punch,
and goes well with brunch.
Out with coffee,
For I will always make some tea.
